Damn, I wish we were capable of being in the running to offer Otto the max. 24 years old, too.

And as much shyt as I've given Tim Hardaway Jr. in the last years, I'd fukk around and give him an offer, too.

We could thank ATL for developing him in a low stress environment for us.:smugfavre:
Why on earth would you want Otto Porter for max money?

I think Otto Porter could be better in a bigger role than third offensive option. But I think it's a waste to bid on him knowing the Wiz will match. If KCP could be had though, 23 years old and has been close to 15 ppg two years running. He was looking like an absolute stud early and I'm not sure if locker room issues, fatigue or injury slowed him down but he fell off a bit. That's a guy that I'd pay handsomely though, great defender and has offensive upside to boot. I'd rather swing at KCP than bring in THJ.

I just dapped this. I'd never dap a Knicks thread or post, because Knicks fans are so damn delusional usally.. but:

1. Thread title is dope yo
:ehh:
2. 'Brehs... other than the color of the Garden court...we don't even know what this organization will look like tomorrow, let alone during the season.'

That truth!
:mjgrin::pachaha:
3. And still 'Go Knicks' is dope af - you're a REAL fan. I think the Warriors have like 500 of those.

Salute, I hope the Knicks get it together with Dolan AND also Melo involved. Yes he can score. But is he a leader? No. Can he decide games that matter? No clue the Knicks never go to the playoffs and when they did who started ball hogging even though I think Smith and Schumpert were on fire? Melo. He's a star, he's no superstar if you look at his stats, especially during the Playoffs and during crunch time...

Still tho
:salute:

what would have to be given up and taken on though? that's the scary part.

honest question too...gimme an example, if possible.

It's all relative. We were fishing for pick 15 to eat Turner or Crabbe's contract and probably a worse pick to take back Harkless. But if a team is desperate for space, they may pay more (like our future first to dump Jared Jeffries to Houston). Ryan Anderson had rumors that teams wanted 2 picks to take his contract which is just ugly. But for us, I'd be looking for a team that has a logjam that makes a decent player available. Denver has a ton of Guards and is paying some people...I'd inquire on Barton and maybe even Jameer Nelson (cheaper vet PG than anything we likely add and he doesn't hurt our tank).

No signings so far, but no news is good news sometimes. Save the cap space for next year or the year after when the Knicks have a young core in place. I'm leaning towards not even signing a stop gap pg either, Start Frank and keep his minutes to around 30 a game and let him split the rest with Baker. A mentor for Frank would be nice, but no one in free agency would serve as a good one imo( I backed off of wanting Rondo here, attitude issues like others said).

I think Dotson is an NBA player. Dude can really shoot the ball, and has the physicality to be a perimeter defender.
Just needs to work on his handles and be a bit more aggressive in driving but yea there's 3 guys I wouldn't mind being on the team. Vujajic needs to be cut immediately :scust:
