Good locker room presence, leaves plenty of room for Frank to jump to a starting spot as soon as he's ready soon...Ron Baker down to 4th on the depth chart. Edit: Just saw he's a non-guaranteed (the knee gotta hold up) which I like. Jack in the locker room is more important than Jack on the court this season tbh.
frank should be starting right away
this shouldnt even be up for debate

highest paid g league player :mjlol:
I really don't get the contract. Dude wasn't good last year. He should have gotten one of those two way contracts.

A 24 year old white PG who went undrafted from a mid major program and averaged 4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists on 38/27/65 splits, a guy that wasn't heralded coming out of high school, and had an up and down SL, gets a 2 year, $9M dollar deal. Dude has grinded and been "overlooked" his whole basketball career, I respect it, seems like a hard working dude with heart and positive locker room influence, but c'mon what a fukking come up with that contract.

Sessions and Jack are back-up PG's but are both better than him, Ntilikina is our PG of the future, we really paying $4M for a third string G-League caliber player.

Keep writing those childrens books though Ron :salute:

I think Sessions or Jack will start at first and Ntilikina should have the job by the end of the season. Frank gonna come off the bench and provide some versatility playing 1-3, our best defensive guard, shoot the open three, make smart passes, play 20-25 minutes. Expecting a statline similar to Giannis rookie year. :manny:

if dennis smith was here, he would be starting
knicks said frank is better
so i dont wanna hear no garbage bout him coming off the bench
im not asking him to be rookie of the year or anything like that
but he should be starting and have a productive rookie season
nothing comes from starting sessions or jack
absoutely nothing
id rather start marbury if we are gonna go the retarded route

I think they're gearing up to run two PG sets. I don't care if Frank starts or subs in tbh, they just need to get him 20 mpg or more.

Why?

Explain why it's stupid?:jbhmm:
we dont have the roster to do it
and its gonna make our defense even worst
we gonna start ramon sessions over tim hardaway:picard:
we gonna make willy come off the bench:hhh:à

nah, experiment with it during the game if necessary but making it our starting line is dumb

frank
tim
melo
kp
willy

should be our starters

Timmy 6th man, we need that scoring punch. Lee got the 3&D, brings more balance to the starting rotation.

Dennis Smith more NBA-ready, more ready to get buckets day one. Frank projected to be better down the line, more versatility, more defense, more length, higher IQ, untapped athletic potential. Like I said he could be productive but in a bench role and become starter later on, think Giannis in year one for Milwaukee where he was trusted to guard guys like Melo and Kobe. The thing should be to get him 20-25 minutes.

That's just my projection he could be a KP, and be more NBA ready coming out of Europe than we think.
