WTF, guy wanted a sportscenter highlight so bad he decides to pull that crap.

KP abused him the whole game. 30+ points and at times KP would just shoot over Randolph like he wasn't there (mindblowing because Randolph has crazy measurables). I think that was frustration boiling over. I wish KP had better help on that roster because keeping up with Dragic and Doncic was super impressive.

Thoughts on Doncic, @I.V.???

I really like him. His offensive game is so advanced. He uses his body well, he can shoot and pass, he actively looks to finish on/over people. There will be questions about his measurables/athleticism and what position he'll play. He may never totally have blow-by ability in iso. But I think he can have a prime-manu kind of impact, where he's just such an offensive force that you deal with the fact that he's at best, neutral, defensively.

I'm not gonna stand here and say he should definitely be the #1 pick over Bagley, Porter, Bama, Ayton, Sexton, etc.... but I think he's a top 5 pick, and I think he's a stud.

Manu was an underrated defender his entire career though, especially as a team defender drawing charges, getting in the passing lanes (top 10 in playoff steals), making big defensive plays (see the block on Harden), being tenacious/pesky on the ball, also an underrated athlete.

Porter will be the number one pick barring any sort of Harry Giles tier injury scenario.

This is mostly accurate, except "being tenacious on the ball" part. Doncic has great hands, and jumps passing lanes. I think he'll be the kind of defender that can take charges, dig down for steals, help weakside, and take charges. I don't think you'll have to hide him, but you won't be able to feature him. And Manu's impact was NOT on the defensive side, let's not pretend otherwise. Manu was brilliantly creative on offense, with great feel, court vision, and the ability to finish. He was also completely unafraid of the moment -- that is what I see when I watch Doncic.

That being said:

Porter will be the number one pick barring any sort of Harry Giles tier injury scenario.

There are guys like porter out there, who are ALSO offensively advanced, and have plus athleticism. Which is why I think Doncic is a top 5 pick.

Can you rephrase this? Not entirely sure on the sentiment here.

I think what he means is Doncic is a lock for top 5 but not a lock for anything higher because there are players like Porter and Bagley competing for the top spots. Doncic is extremely talented but looking at the prospect list, it's very likely one or more players will show more promise thanks to having similar upside in the skills department with more athleticism to boot.
