KP looking like he's turning into a nightmare match-up at C, all-star season coming up from him next year. I just hope Willy can slim down and somehow fit in at the 4 spot, it'd be a shame if Willy and KP couldn't stay on the floor together for long since they compliment each others games so well.

18 pts, 4 boards, 4 blocks. I didn't watch so I'm just taking some scoops from the eurobasket thread discussion at realgm. Sounds like KP had foul trouble early in the second half and then the PG's couldn't get him the ball as Serbia stepped up ball denial. 7/16 shooting and 3/6 from three btw. Sounds like KP started gangbusters and slowed down in the second half, but I'll need to watch the replay to really comment with any authority. Spain is in their second half, Willy has 10,3 in 8 minutes...instant offense with that dude and another game I'll watch if I can get a link later.

Edit: Updated Willy closed out with 18 and 9 in 19 minutes on 6/7 FG and 6/7 FT's. He was the leading scorer and rebounder on a roster with the Gasol Bros (all three played similar minutes btw).

one thing ive noticed...
kristaps looks generally more explosive....particularly off the dribble
granted its against euro bigs....but he looks way less hesitant to get to the rim and draw contact
his earlier years he'd be lumbering especially in second halves of games.
he looks bigger stronger and faster than when we first drafted him
hope he starts at center full time half way through the season
