I really think the Melo being left off the random banner is way overblown.

Timmy, the $71 mill dollar man was left off, also.

And, the professional thing is to acknowledge that both parties have respectfully understood they are going in different directions.

Knicks fans have seen the value of expirings with Amare and Rose....... and we're going to learn that lesson again in 2 seasons with Noah. Anyhow Frye coming off the books might help the Cavs financially but they would still be a tax team unless Lebron leaves.

Also the Cavs 2018 is a late 1st rounder. Ususally the talent you see there is close enough to the second round you might as well get a early second rounder to avoid a guaranteed contract if you snub the pick. Anyhow my argument isn't that the Brooklyn pick doesn't have value. Just that it's not getting the Cavs a great player by itself and they need all of their current good players if they really want to compete with the warriors.

That pick isn't getting the Celtics a 25 year old all star. A 29 year old all star and a very good Roleplayer (both on great contracts) plus a good Center prospect AND that pick is getting them a 25 year old all star. If the Cavs thought as highly of that pick as people here (and in Boston) do they wouldn't be risking it to demand more.

Shump, and Frye (with their contracts) and a pick that could be 5-10 would not of got a team Boogie, PG, Or Butler. Even 1-5 I don't see teams making that deal unless the lottery has happened to cement the place of the pick. Right now they could pull a D'snitch possibly a Bledsoe but are those deals better than Melo

You gotta stop, breh. You're way outside of reality right now.

And has anyone honestly looked at that Brooklyn roster? It is still absolute basura.

@I.V. what do you think.about
little finger's
fate?

I loved him as a character in the show, so I'll miss him. But he overplayed his hand trying to pit the two sisters against each other. They're smarter and they've seen more shyt than the last set of Stark sisters. And that scene was badass.
