Then package those picks and solid pieces including Cleveland's pick of whoever

Harkless, Lee, O'Quinn, Willy, ALL the draft picks we receive from the deal and we keep our picks or just give up one 1st rounder.

shyt... they aren't lying about 3 and 4 team trades being so complex.

I tried a 4 team trade where Portland and Cleveland get almost all the picks from the trade including 1 Knicks 1st rounder going to Cleveland.

NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Houston - Melo (What they wanted)

Cleveland - Courtney Lee, Trevor Ariza, O'Quinn, Harkless, Knicks 2018 1st Round Draft Pick, Houston picks (Solid players and picks for the future)
Portland - Lance Thomas, Capella, Houston Picks (Solid glue guy, Young Promising Center and future picks)
Knicks - Irving, Shumpert, Ryan Anderson, Shumpert (The PG they would love, and TERRIBLE long term contract as a sacrifice as well as Shump only good for peddling his mixtape on Fulton Street in Brooklyn.)

Cons - Would Cleveland help the Rockets? Probably not. Would Cleveland get better offer? Probably.

No Melo trade yet... ATLEAST means we haven't gotten robbed yet.

Imagine we bought him out one day before Kyrie demands a trade...even if we don't get him, best believe there would have been think pieces out the ass talking about "Knicks doing knicks things, they buy Melo out a day ebfore he could have been a piece to use to get Kyrie."

The Rockets KNOW they can't beat the Warriors as currently constructed. They still believe - from Morey to Harden - that, with a Melo acquisition, they can. They will eventually bite...and if not, again...

NO trade means no chance of getting robbed.
