Snoop brought his A game to most of the posse cuts...Gold Rush, Downtown Assassins, Groupie etc...I think that maybe gave him the extra motivation he needed that maybe he didn't have on some solo tracks:yeshrug:

He still had it in him he just was way too inconsistent

Yeah, he didnt loose his flow or anything like that, its just the fact that they seemingly completely scrapped the quality control on this release. They had this pool of great tracks to select from and in the end they picked songs like "Freestyle Conversation" or "Tear Em Off" which had beats that were repetitive & bland as fukk like, @SirBiatch already mentioned the beats lacked big time on those songs, and snoop also seemed completely dead on those songs. I heard numerous theories that Snoop actually sabotaged his album and loaded it up with lame songs to get off the label earlier. Sounds unreal, but if you look at songs like "Midnight Love", "Street Life" etc. being left off on purpose seems sketchy af

Always loved the back cover and wish they would've used it instead of The Godfather inspired one:francis:

I like what you did with 5-7, those 3 are a few of my favorites that were left off the album...and Midnight Love of course

:wow:All of them are amazing songs. Listening through this album version just further proofs for me, that snoop always had the best flow/voice in the game.
What also sounds great is pllacing change gone come after up jump tha boogie just sounds really good, notice this everytime I listen to it. I'm also wondering what sample they used for the track, that "I feel like givin it up" sung by Val Young sounds familiar to me.
