Though the terms of the catalog deal have not been disclosed, it was previously reported that Snoop’s acquisition will not include some of Death Row’s most popular records: Dr. Dre’s The Chronic or 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me and The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory.

Billboard reports the Pac projects are now owned by Amaru Entertainment and the Tupac estate, while Dre’s sole Death Row album is expected to return to him sometime in 2023.

When the ads for Snoop's Last Meal album came out, he made a point to say that the title was based on him fulfilling contract obligations. Last time that others would eat off of him,

Ain’t no sucka shyt when it comes to business and what YOU created. And we have no proof whatsoever that Dre hasn’t over the years tried to get his Masters back. He may have or may not have.


If i’m Dre I’m definitely hitting up Snoop for them Masters. And i’m not saying he shouldn’t be fair and not buy them from Snoop or work something out. But he damn sure wouldn’t be touring with me or getting me to sign off on anything regarding the label or any new ventures until I get them damn Masters

Never said Dre shouldn’t pay. I’m simply saying whatever leverage I have i’m using to the FULLEST EXTENT until I get them Masters. I’d work it out so that I could pay for them but say if Snoop didn’t want to sell then i’d cut off any and all communication, promotion, or future ventures until we got a deal done.


Like I said business not personal. If I made one of the greatest, most influential albums of all time and I had leverage to get ownership then i’m using that leverage PERIOD
