50 needs an OG or an advisor lol. Stop trying to ride the beat and find flows and just write raps!! Just sit down and write rhymes man, smh. This dude is a shell of himself as a rapper…and that’s my guy, ain’t no hate at all. This is what happens when your closest homies and the like are scared of you and can’t be honest with you. His last like 4 “new” verses are all victims of this same exact thing, nig wanna ride the beat so bad he doesn’t even care about the actual rapping

Another Part of Me is like Dr. Dre delving into producing a Snoop-Wiz era collaboration

Youuuuung, wild and freeeee
Another part of meeeeeee

:troll:

Fire is like Dr. Dre delving into producing Snoop Lion era Snoop

Probably shoulda used the Eminem Return of Slim Shady playbook and produced a retro version of all the styles Snoop cake to be known for in the mainstream

I need for ppl to really go and check those 2000-08 albums from Snoop. That was his prime. Snoop on No Limit was Randy Moss signing with the Raiders. Ppl think he was done but including and after Top Dogg and The Last Meal he dropped some of his best albums. This shyt ain't touching those albums especially the blue carpet treatment or even Paid tha Cost. Those albums had little to no Dre and didn't need him.
No Limit Top Dogg is a heavily slept on album.

Dope effort, the live instrumentation is :ohlawd:

Could have left off outta da blue, thank you, pressure and another part of me. Everything else was on point to me.

Album full of Gunz n Smoke and Skyscrapers woul have been dope though. Cats snapped on those. Skyscrapers, now THAT's how I was hoping Alchemist would have flipped that sample for Infamous Mobb with Mobb nikkaz, beat switch for verses still was dope though/still a classic track itself.

Snoop can still rap and rap well, not sure if he even wrote the majority on this though :mjlol:

Youre overhating a bit, there were a few dope Dre tracks on there.

Otherwise i think Snoop doesnt get the props that he deserves from real heads due to his popularity but his discog albeit bloated has a lot of good great stuff.

Personally love R&G for example for mainstream commercial albums, dope music to my ears...
I ain't trying to hate at all, I'm just saying he dropped some really good to great albums with and mostly without Dre. After Deathrow it's only been a small handful of Dre produced stuff for Snoop and they weren't always the best songs on the albums. bytch Please brought him back though and that's a Dre track.

His verse on Nas’ album was so awful. It was like he hadn’t rapped in decades.

I've always liked Warren G, but why are people bringing him up? He hasn't produced much at all in years and years.

Daz has done some dope stuff recently so yeah, it's a shame him and Dre won't ever work together again. But him I get bringing up. Need to check out the new album.

I wasn't expecting Doggysytle synths and moog bass with George Clinton rambling over it but I also didn't expect lazy ass samples that we've all heard before (sorry.. that beat will forever be Stakes is high) and nobody listening to a snoop album to hear "lyrical, miracle" shyt.. his ghostwriters were doing too much.
