if not for the ghostwriters, Snoop would be my #1 favorite rapper of all time. consistency, longevity, and has put out heat for 30 years now.

he did have ghostwriters on Tha Doggfather...Bad Azz, Kurupt, Threat,,,but they were credited in the booklet

I don’t know too many people who would actually have Snoop in their top 5/GOAT type conversation. He has made one of if not the illest albums ever but as far as MCing I wouldn’t put him that night for a number of reasons.

It's only right, not sure if Dre wants to be near a project with that name though but we'll see.
He was his peak on Doggystyle pretty much but he was hungry coming in at 19, he set the damn bar so high it was hard to get near that point again. He still makes good music though I agree, that seems like a gift and a curse to him with Doggystyle because honestly it was that damn good.

i remember this.
i used to practically study liner notes. Young Phantom Dreamer - not wanting to believe Snoop had writers - dismissed it as a clerical error, like they forgot to include his name.
i was a HUGE Snoop fan (still am), to the point where it actually hurt me to find out he didn't write all his shyt.
Posted that thinking it was an eastsidaz album.
