If this is the first snoop album you're gonna listen to since BCT, you've clearly missed a LOT of heat. Snoop with Battlecat can do no wrong whatsoever. NONE!!!

Not traditionally a Snoop fan but I acknowledge him as a legend. Its seemed to me that he’s been more of a personality or caricature than a serious artist these past years but the snippets i’ve heard him post from the sessions has been FIRE and Hit Boy is batting 1000 with producing albums so i’m definitely interested

Just give me a Snoop G Funk album production by Dr. Dre, Dat nikka Daz, Soopafly Priest Brooks and Warren G

:blessed:

I need that 92, 93, 94, 95 Vintage California G Funk Sound

right now , neither dre, daz, soopafly or warren G are better than Battlecat at the moment. That man just isn't capable of making wack shyt. And he's been doing this for over 3 decades and no one ever mentions him as an all time great. Even the albums that no one has heard of, like Bookie's STRESSIN' are great albums.

Battlecat is West Coast Royalty, I'm going to have to check his album that he produced for Snoop Dogg

not to diss you cause you're a fellow nas stan but you should not wait for artist to be connected some way to nas to listen to them lol.

I kinda noticed this with you, like you only start to listen to cordae because of nas was on his project. you'll be missing a lot like that

I listen to what I want when I want breh. I’m not a young guy out here with time on his hands that can listen to whoever on a whim. I’m busy as fukk and when it comes to my music listening i’m going to go with the quality I KNOW vs wasting time on artists who might not even take the craft seriously or simply don’t connect with me.

Nas
Jay-Z
Common
Wu-Tang
The Roots
Lupe Fiasco
Kendrick Lamar
J.Cole
Childish Gambino

Those are my go to artists. If they put you on their projects and your verse/hook is fire your probably going to get at least a fair listen from me if you have a project out. I checked for Lute’s album last year because he had a FIRE verse on Sleep Deprived from The Revenge Of The Dreamers album. Cordae spit a dope verse on Life Is Like A Dice Game so I gave him a shot. So on and so on.

Its my system and it works for me

album?? Battlecat has been working with snoop for a long time. It didn't just start recently. Snoop may not release his best songs as singles and people ignore his albums, but snoop for a while has put out a lot of high quality product. Snoop picks great beats for his albums. He doesn't need Dre or even battlecat. He knows what he's doing..I think the problem is that everyone wants another Doggystyle. That shyt aint happening anymore. You can't expect a man in his 50s that's a multimillionaire to write another album from the point of view of a broke teenager. And that goes for Nas and others. There will never be another Illmatic so we should appreciate the hot albums he releases for what they are

Yes album, wasn't Snoop in the studio with battlecat not too long ago saying Battlecat is going to lay down some tracks for an Album of his.

I'm 45 I grew up off West Coast Gangsta Rap and G Funk. I know about Battlecat, DJ Aladdin, DJ Pooh, Rhythm X, Erotic D, Dre and all the legendary West Coast Gangsta Rap producer's and artist. So what you telling me about Battlecat is nothing new to me homeboy. I stop checking for Snoop a long time ago. Last album I felt of his was Blue Carpet Treatment and 7 Days.

And Nobody said writing a view from a broke nikka, I want G Funk shyt, that's it vintage G Funk sound over Snoop Vocals

no I was implying that snoop has more than an album's worth of songs produced by Battlecat. This goes back years. Cali is Active(one of my favorite hip hop videos ever) is one of them with daz and kurupt. And battlecat does have that G funk sound. If you're not listening to his albums, why are you arguing about what his albums doesn't have? hahaha I'm telling you, Battlecat has that G funk sound everyone is complaining about wanting to hear, but then everyone says, ""I haven't listened to snoop in years", but then complain about albums they haven't heard or don't listen to hahha. Does that make sense?
