I did feel sorry for Storm Shadow, especially since Snake Eyes used his trust, stole the stone...
And didn't even kill his father's murderer...
In other words, he caused all that drama for NOTHING

They kinda dropped the ball trying to give Snake Eyes all of this character background, as most of it made him look like an irredeemable idiot lol, but overall it wasn't a bad movie I think. Storm Shadow kinda stole the show. I'd give it a solid 3.5 outta 5.

Sadly no... or, not for me anyway. This just wasn't the GIJoe/Snake Eyes movie I'd hoped it would be. It's any other Kung fu/Ninja movie.If Iko wasn’t in it, I’d probably pass.

Better than Ninja Assassin?
I didn't see Ninja Assassin, so I can't say for sure. I think if you go into it expecting a run of the mill ninja movie, you won't be disappointed really. But if you love Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow or any of the other GIJoe elements they tried to weave into this, you're definitely going to be let down. I'm a big GIJoe fan, so I was disappointed as hell (and probably a little bitter tbh
)
