and then completely abandon em on the For Da People album

Yeah that was a huge mistake. I think Heltah Skeltah were the main culprits with that being beefed out with the Minerz. Then they had that whole BCC/MFC split :snoop:..even through all of that some dope albums came out though, both OGC and Heltah Skeltah 2nd releases were dope, the Cocoa Brova's album was alright/had some heat.

Makes you wonder why they decided to not have them fully produce the next releases (Nocturnal, Da Storm) and then completely abandon em on the For Da People album

I loved Nocturnal and Da Storm. They still kinda had that BCC feel to them.

But I copped For Da People and couldn't believe how weak it was. I was mad that I spent that money.

I'm going to get negged to Bolivia for this, but I don't own Da Shinin', Enta Da Stage, or Nocturnal :sadcam: I've been working on owning all 3, but I keep finding them for regular price. I don't like buying old albums like that new; I'd rather cop them used--and cheap.

You are correct Heltah Skeltah didn't want a whole album produced by Da Beatminerz then Ruck & Rock sh!tted on them on BET Rap City and The Source calling them the Sweetminerz saying just looping a record is not all that talented. Then saying they was sensitive. It's also HS fault to be the first BCC album to feature female vocalist on it with Therapy.

For Da People was definitely a let down but the live instruments sound is something the BCC learned working with 2pac.

I just recently peeped The Rude Awakening again. If you don't try to compare it to Da Shinin its pretty solid joint. I still play "Still Standing Strong" the track that Steele produced. Can't forget about the Beatminerz produced track Bucktown USA. Then they came back even harder on the Remix with M.O.P. I was like
