I re watched Smart Guy recently....is it fukking with BMW? absolutely not
but it holds up a lot of them black shows from that time dont
this ep was fukking hilarious (if every ep of smart guy was this good then you could say it was better than BMW but that ain't the case some of them was weak as hell)

come to think of it, i watched "smart guy" more in adulthood than I did when it was out.

Been binging “Smart Guy” on Disney+ for the past few days and the show has held up a lot.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised that the show becomes popular again cuz of the streaming services and they bring this back the same way they did “Girls Meet World.”

I love both shows, but imo Smart Guy has aged better. Corey & Shawn are hilarious but nobody's fukking with the Marcus & Mo combo when it comes to comedy, and btw Essence Atkins > any chick on BMW. There were so many times when I wanted to punch Corey in his face, like when he made his dad feel like shyt because he was working in a grocery store

Classic show especially when Eric started displaying his comedic chops. But it only did a solid job of capturing cac and cac trash angst.
Why does Marcus and Mo's comedic genius have to be buffoonery?

Marcus and Mo had their own story arcs. I was hesitant to watch the show because I thought it was just a lil kid show but my homie convinced me to give it a chance because it really wasn't.Uh because it was a better show?
I guess if you was a little nikka at the time like Tia & Tamera's brother you'd role with that. I was about the same age as the BMW cast, and found lil dude more annoying than anything. Only eps that caught my attention were the ones revolving around his siblings
BTW it's hilarious Essence Watkins was 25 when the show started playing a school girl
After Will and Carlton, Marcus and Mo are arguably the 2nd greatest comedic duo in TV sitcom history...right there with Gus and Shawn and Turk and JD. Corey and Shawn are up there but Eric stole the show in the later seasons.

I hate to be cliche but to me, Smart Guy was the funnier show(Marcus and Mo are better duel than Corey and Shawn comedy wise) but WMB was the better show. It has humor, drama, life lessons. My favorite era is the Mr. Turner hs era.
