On PPV it was almost impossible at this point. The only guy ready for that kind of win was D-Bry and another 6 man tag on PPV wasn't going to happen considering The Shield have 3 belts. Why wait so long when you have a rising star that can hugely benefit from it instead of randomly picking a guy and either give him a pinfall/submission win out of nowhere or wait a couple of months to see if he catches fire?. Same thing applies for a tag title win, D-Bry shouldn't get them belts back and you have to wait to build another face tag team and hope they catch fire...the sure thing was giving Bryan that rub.

Now, a RAW main event spot I agree with. It would have been WAY bigger than SD! but maybe that's the point ("The Shield still hasn't lost on RAW or PPV, folks").

Still, they've been very protected in the last 7-8 months. They have been already established as a force to be reckon with and can get their heat back at any time against anybody, they have amassed enough credibility to not be hurt at all by a loss.

I agree that losing to the hottest guy in the company doesn't take away from their heat at all, I'm just saying that their first 6 man loss should be much bigger than a random SmackDown tag with no build. Could've been huge on a major PPV (even if the logistics don't quite work at this point) and quite big on a promoted RAW main event, but of course they waste it on a random match.

:manny: There are far too many stupid things going on in WWE right now to complain too much about this, though.

WWE.com: Kaitlyn fined $10,000 for slapping WWE referee

Senior Adviser to the SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long has made the decision to fine Divas Champion Kaitlyn $10,000 for slapping a WWE referee during Tuesday night's SmackDown taping.

Just moments after the footage of AJ Lee embarrassing Kaitlyn on Raw was replayed on the TitanTron - an incident in which the unstable Diva revealed herself to be the titleholder's secret admirer - Kaitlyn went into a rage and attacked both her scheduled opponent Aksana and the official.

Don't miss SmackDown on Syfy, this Friday at 8/7 CT, to see how it all unfolded.

That's like 6 months pay for a diva.

$10k? Didn't they do something similar a few years ago with Orton or Sheamus and he only got fined $2,000?

From where I'm sitting, Ricardo's pop was bigger than Del Rio's

From where anyone is sitting it's like that, it's not likely to change either.

It must hurt to hear your announcer coming out to an actual reaction.

I actually held out hope for Sandow. He really needs this win instead he'll be the latest casualty of the ginger bulldozer. :snoop:

Maybe he can get a submission finisher and let that get him over, maybe use the paradise lock and call it the Gordian knot or lock. Some guy on wrestlinginc thought of it, but I thought of the paradise lock idea.
