Yes he did..as an a$$hole heel who was turned to prove Miz right of all people. Whole different creative from the 2014 and 2015 when he was saving WMs while they put Roman and a mid 40s Taker in Main events.

While I agree there’s plenty of underlying factors that contribute to this terrible demise, it’s hilarious to me how y’all will without thought, trash Diesel and Bret Hart for never drawing a dime because of the tanking of ratings and business, yet when it comes to ya’ll favorites drawing quite possibly the worst results in history, it’s a lot of finger pointing and juelzing.

We need some consistency. Nobody is tuning in to watch Kofi and Seth’s reigns, point blank period.

Is there a plethora of other underlying problems? Absolutely? That doesn’t change the first statement from holding true
Was this Baron Corbin's fault too?

If Baron Corbin, Lars Sullivan, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair and Dolph Ziggler were champions you all would be pointing the finger squarely at them for tanking the ratings.

Right or wrong the champion always got shyt for the ratings being down or praise for them going up. Only recently has there been push back on this and instead blame has gone to ancillary playfighters y'all don't fukk with. Keep that same energy is all I ask.

this had to be said :lolbron:

Even if he was a face these ratings would still have happened.

It was never Corbin’s fault, WWE the ones that insinuated that it was his fault when the McMahon’s did that whole “we’re sorry and we’re gonna do better” promo

No one is tuning in to watch anyone:manny: Some of y'all just don't like using context, when something is being explained in detail forcing you to read, you equate it to ":cape:". Low ratings back then simply was different than low ratings now. In 96, people were turning away with very few alternatives, so they were more inclined to just come back. More than 20 years later in 2019, after an extreme stretch of a straight up mediocre and boring product, there's simply way more alternatives, both wrestling and non-wrestling related. You can miss the WWE product for weeks at a time and people are unphased, to the point to where they're not even watching 10 minute recaps.

:mjlol::mjlol: @ mentioning things turn when it concerns their faves, as if people weren't fans of Diesel, Bret, and HBK.
