I doubt WWE is going to have them remake an old game featuring an old roster of dead guys and guys that don't work for them anymore.

Probably just inspiration for next year's game or maybe they are developing something for New Japan since the team "celebrated" their meeting by going to G1. New Japan desperately needs something beyond the Fire Pro stuff.

This was the perfect wrestling game to me minus the Elimination Chamber bug where you couldn't climb the turnbuckle and how the CPU would occasionally just climb up the cage and just dive off and fukk themselves up. I was a beast at that shyt. Put in 100s of hours playing with friends.

I also remember a prank I pulled on this one cocky friend of ours. PS2 had the problem where if you had the media remote any button you pressed would act like the first controller was hitting it. So this friend is dominating another friend who was garbage at the game yet everytime he went for the pin I'd hit the cancel pin button which had the same animation of the kickout. Dude was losing his fukking mind turning bright red and throwing tantrums wondering why the fukk he couldn't pin this guy.
