I get that Dwight is a cornball and therefore gets a lot of hate, but it blows my mind how many people seemingly haven't watched him play over the years.

:dahell: Who was better than him in the 19 finals.

Are you serious?

He was the best player by default. Two of the six games he was the best player, he was nowhere near the wire to wire best player in the series....

So my larger point, in response to the previously quoted post, was if guys are going to cherry pick Lakers players with a choke in their history, they need to keep it consistent and talk about George's choking history and the fact that Kawhi has won two Finals MVPs without being the best player in either--->make no mistake about it, for the Clippers to win a championship this year or beat the Lakers, he is going to have to be the best player in those series'....

And while I know he is elite, there is no evidence he can be the best player in a series where the opponent is as healthy or competitive---->everyone besides LeBron on the '14 Heat played like garbage in that Finals and that Spurs team was defensively otherworld; and no question the '19 Warriors without the cacophony of injuries they had smokes Kawhi's team in 5 games tops...

He's the luckiest multiple-time Finals MVP I've ever seen...

And while we're at it, cats need to keep it consistent and call out overrated Doc Rivers and his chronic underachieving despite a number of contending teams....

Lakers will be fine this year, I really dont understand the blind assumption the Clippers are taking over The League ..

I thought he was pretty good for Charlotte when healthy. Lakers just need him to fill in the McGee role and not try to do too much. I also don't buy the fact that clippers are running away as the best team in the league this year.

I think calling his MVP with the raptors lucky is a stretch. He carried a team with a known playoff chocker. Let's face it Kawhi ran out of gas in the finals because Raptors needed him to do everything to even get there.

The biggest issue with Kawhi is making a long playoff run in good health. He won't be able to do that if clippers don't rest him like the raptors. But this year he actually has a superstar who he can defer to and take plays off during the game.

He will. Bron and AD willi be the focus while he just gets easy baskets. LA looking scary honestly

What will they say when AD draws in the defense on the block (because he can play on the block and have a nasty mid range)

and Green Cook KCP and bradley to a lower degree eat off that oh and i forgot about dudley all those guys are about 37-40 percent from 3

Cant leave Kuz out there alone because he can hit them

on the break you have lebron leading it or rondo

and you have dwight AD magee all can catch lobs running with them

green and kcp or cook hit the corners

rebounding not a issue with AD Magee and dwight

shot blocking not a issue

shooting not a issue

playmaking not a issue

The got youth they got superstars they got good coaching just wiat until the all star break

Klay was good but he wasn’t better. Plus he even missed a game. Kawhi was damn near 30/10 for the series
nah kawhi was locked... he was losing the last games....

the double teams exposed his weak passing and the rest of the raps stepped up...

they actually played well despite his bad passes

if klay dont go down.. i cant say we win....:francis:

BUT I CAN SAY WE WON :troll:

I know people don't like to count the regular season but, i seem to remember the Raptors beating a fully healthy Warriors squad 2 times to 1.and the one loss was like by 1 point, so no guarentee the Warriors would've won with everybody healthy.

i understand.. but were talking about what was happening...

i was in total shock... Klay was lighting us up....

thing is ..regular season..its one game... you dont adjust your defense the next game to that team and come up with an offensive plan.. you prepare for the next team...game 6 looked like GSW had the raps figured out...

do remember... LOWRY WENT OFF......SIAKAM WENT OFF......and we only won by 4....kawhi's game was well read...he holds the ball too long on double teams...
