Much much better than Saint's Row 3.
The fights are dope as hell.
Was SR3 that wack?Is it even worth coppin? I'm about to beat 2 and I'm wondering should I bother
Yall nikkas got me on the fence now. I didn't plan on buying this, but I got a bunch a games to trade in anyway. Don't know if I can hold off on a new game till October when RE6 drops. Borderlands 2 gonna be piff?
I'd be disappointed as fukk if I blew 60 on this game. Driving controls/physics are pretty lame. The chases are extremely lame. Like..wow. The city has like no life to it. I punch a person, a normal civilian, in the face and they die. I nudge someone with my car and they automatically die. LOL. This game is fun from time to time, but it seems like a 7.0 game for sure.
I haven't punched any random ppl yet, but I think you're approaching this game wrong, it's not meant to be a GTA game where you walk around causing mayhem and mischief.
You do your missions and you have fun, the cars take a little while to get used to imo but once you figure them out they're fun to drive. I haven't played GTA4 admittedly but this game definitely controls better than the GTA3 series.
The fights are also a main focus point and are really fun.
I'm only an hour or so into this game but I'd say it's an experience type game: IF you ever wanted to play a hong kong action movie as a game then here you go, however if you have no interest in the cinematic approach, kung fu sensibilities etc think twice about it
Like I said I never played GTA4 so I can't compare the driving controls but in most of the reviews for this game they say the driving is tightThe cars don't control anywhere NEAR as nice as GTA4. And I'm not approaching it like that. I'm taking it easy. Trying to see the story play out and everything. The gameplay just isn't that great of quality. The combat is stepping up as I learn new moves and whatnot, though. So maybe I jumped the gun on that a little bit. I'm probably a good 4 hours into it now though, so...yeah. I wasn't expecting much out of it, and it is fairly fun, but I might just return it tomorrow and pick up darksiders 2.
And it really is pretty much an open ended game like GTA, bro. Regardless of the background story and everything. Its an open world game with more focus on hand to hand instead of gunplay. Its just not of that top tier quality.
On Day 4 of playing it...it gets hella repetitive after a while..plus no multiplayer...ehh
glad i got it for Free.99...it has that saint's row 3 feel to me...dope at first but the closer you get to beating it the less you wanna play it..still pretty dope tho.
