I traced my families history back to 1845 in South Carolina...couldn't back any further because slaves were marked down just like cattle at a certain point. I did this like a year ago maybe. Can't even look at my last name any more without feeling some type of way now. I mean I knew the name came from a slave master, but i just didn't hit me until i went and looked shyt up. But yeah, on topic, Jim Crow was just a refined version of the same crap. White people always crying about stuff that didn't personally happen to them, but quick to verbally thrash around black history in the U.S. If it wasn't Jim Crow it was the "war on drugs".

Most of our parents lived through Jim Crow. They just don't talk about it much :skip:. There's no forgetting any of this. White people just don't want that burden on them and want to twist it so they can somehow be the victim :beli:
