Human slavery’s been a part of human culture. The Spartans had “helots” who they’d murder annually in ritual war.
Romans had slaves, which they’d do terrible shyt to.
Moors and Jews traded in Eastern European slaves during the dark ages.
Around the 1400s, after The end of the Black Plague, the Spanish started going to Africa and stealing people (buying slaves who were Taken in tribal warfare). Spain and Africa are really close. Then the English started buying/stealing African slaves from the Spanish

Slaves in America did have several uprisings, they were routinely squashed because by the time they got to America, they were already in shackles and removed from resources.

They would routinely torture you. I honestly don’t know how people are this stupid and disrespectful to the history of slavery.
