there's a chance Jimmy is one the reasons why some of these questionable songs are on the album though... if he had anything to say I wouldn't be surprised

I think Eminem isolates himself so much from fans and the internet that he's out of touch now. Like corporate interns/yes men probably brief him on what's hot like he's the president but all he gets fed is bs trying to sell records. I mean how can he look at Recovery's sales and not think it's a landmark record? Meanwhile, his hip hop fans and heads in general wonder what the hell happened to this guy. I'd be surprised if there is one song on his next album that is half as smart as Marshall Mathers or Eminem Show.
The thing I don't get... is that if they're thinkin about sellin records, why wouldn't they just release those Lighters type of songs, because those would be something Joell/Joe/Crook are more capable of doing than (modern) Em & Royce, who already proved w/ Lighters that they can make a hit w/ that type of sound. Now they're doing something which isn't that close to their comfort zone & shyt sounds like an Encore leftover.
I was EXPECTING, damn near lookin forward to those "poppy" Lighters type of songs & now there's this, the Busta Rhymes song & Throw It Away (which sounds amazing compared to this, lol) I don't care about... haven't heard the Busta song but@ putting that
ass badabada rapper on any album...
I was expecting 3 or 4 those type of tracks, considering My Life wasn't exactly similar to that Lighters/Airplanes/Love The Way You Lie/Spacebound sound...
I finally listened to snippets & I gotta tell that I was low-key surprised that the 2 songs w/ Skylar Grey prod. by Alex Da Kid didn't have the typical sound for their songs either... Both were sounding kinda less poppy than expected
oh well, the album is still gonna be 20 songs minus intro, skit, this & Throw It Away.... so it still could be good
I think the 'Love The Way You Lie'/'I need a Doctor' is perfect production for Budden (plus SH), but I'd rather just hear Budden/and or Em, this shyt though? Nah. LOL at getting a beat from T Minus, whose been doing good work lately, and it sounds like 'Ass Like That', or whatever, handcrafted a garbage beat fro, the mid 2000's.

Cold Wind Blows from Just Blaze was hot, but a source told me that it was so much doper before Em asked Just to make some changes to it. The songs that got left off from Just and Em were supposedly so much better.
Why does Em always do freestyles on ALC beats but never picks them for his albums?
Havoc's beat on Recovery was dope, and so was Cold Wind Blows and one or two of those Khalil tracks. That's it though.
