i'll say it again. i had many friends who played varsity as junior and got NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN...
ZERO TIME.

once they were seniors and all the D-1 scholly ballers left. they finally got a little playing time. still just a little bit. cause the starters were still wayyyy better. and when they did get in. the coach told them if they did anything besides swing the ball around. they would get yanked. again, would you rather PLAY or sit in the front row just to tell chicks "see i played Var.."

now i will admit this is true. there are perks to even riding the pine. but thats if you're more interested in actually playing the sport you love. or if you never loved it to begin with. you just did it to get a higher status in high school. then by all means ride that pine on var.
