A guy who's good enough to start but not good enough to win consistently, and definitely not a QB that wins the big game.

The Jets are pretty much the Redskins ceiling as a team right now, and they didn't even make the playoffs.

The mediocre Gruden-Cousins combo will be a bust...this year they had everything fall their way with one of the easiest schedules in the league, and one of the weakest NFC East divisions in years. Next year, they are not going to be as lucky.

I beg to differ. Kirkpatrick was always a bum in my eyes. Only in Buffalo for that lil stretch did he look like he could be decent
Then Buffalo paid him the type of cash that had a nikka like :usure:
Kirk, he'll get a backloaded contract. I expect him to keep up the good work. And if he don't? I think a more proven QB could be had easily. Overall, our offense is too potent for kirk to fail. And if the Cincinatti offense is any indication of where this offense is heading?

Well, what you speak of isn't really an issue. Now our defense (which is also loaded) is the biggest question mark. We somehow are doing pretty decent without any known players in the secondary. We supposed to be trash there. I'd be more comfortable if we draft a DB

Yet... Cousins nearly broke every season QB franchise record this season. He's either 1st or 2nd or 3rd in practically every statistical QB category for the Redskins in its entire history.... and still got room to improve. Wait until NEXT season to make this assumption.

I know mediocrity when I see it...dude is the definition of mediocre.

When Jackson and or Reed didn't play, he looked like ass. Just like Fitzpatrick when he's not throwing to PB calibre players (hell, Fitzpatrick had a better statistical season than Cousins did this year, and look at them).

That's the NFL though...if you're playing one of the mid tier guys at QB you'll have to catch lightning in a bottle. There are only a handful of elite QB's that keep you alive every year...

I disagree. Cousins is accurate, throws with anticipation, can read the whole field and has a stronger arm than Fitzpatrick. He isn't much like Fitzpatrick at all when you consider the medley of his talents. As such Cousins is better than Fitzpatrick and can potentially win playoff games.

I guarantee cousins loses next week and looks bad doing it. cousins numbers against teams above .500 this year are pathetic

Cuzins looked SO bad early on I could see it.
The 2nd half of the season is either him *getting it* and becoming a legit elite QB or.........it's some flash in the pan Nick Foles lucky stretch shyt.
Either way RIGHT TODAY, Cuzins and Gruden got a lot of nikkas looking salty right now :wtb:
He got to do it again next season in order to convince me, he going get paid before that though :jawalrus:
