There were rumblings that Brian Griese wanted to go back to the booth as the schedule was less strenuous. Sad to see him go as I thought he did great with Brock Purdy and he and not Kyle should lion's share of the credit for rehabbing Sam Darnold.

Yes, they tried to talk him into going out for tje Jets job and he declined. he just want to spend more time with his families
