Why purchase a black site and intentionally allow it to die? Who would do such a thing?

Was the coli sold to a white supremacist or the fbi?

I don't understand. Why doesn't someone just take over and upkeep the site. It's not expensive. We shouldn't let this site die. It's a great resource of expression, and knowledge.

Why purchase a black site and intentionally allow it to die? Who would do such a thing?

This is what doesnt make sense. Why buy to let the board die? This worked for Hypebeast.com they let the forums die off and closed them but they had a main page for content. They coli is just a message board so it doesn't add up.

Yeah social media apps have taken the game away from msgboards. shyt started w/Twitter in 2010. Then other ones like IG, SC, & Tik Tok started to take over. Coli is basically done for a number of reasons.

I would have been left here if it wasn't for the start of the covid pandemic last year. Personally, I'm just tired now. Started here 5 yrs ago and I never seen a msgboard decline as fast as coli has and I started out on AHH/IC in late 2008. I wasn't even a coli member for a full two yrs and this site started to decline in mid-late 2018.

the main excuse for not opening registration is because agents and c00ns will infiltrate... but there's already a ton of c00ns and agents on here anyway so they might as well open registration anyway

More like exclusively dead. Posters didn't see the red flags with the extended closed sign ups. This website is DONE for if it doesn't get an active admin and IT user/team. Watch people still deny it.
