This hatred and resentment between the sexes did not exist nowhere near the way it does now till the past decade or so. (Not) Coincidentally after people became addicted to the internet. But nah the dating woes of the 2010s and 20s that did not exist in the 90s are because of rights women obtained in the 1960s.

Low key Arab women too back in 2019 I went to the aid office in a Chicago suburb so my cousin can get her food stamp card before college and most of the women was Arab with multiple kids and in Illinois if you are married it's almost impossible to get link unless you are poor as fukk so they definitely was single moms

This is interesting bc you got posters in here claiming women always worked and stay at home wives are a myth, so which one is it?

Also, note that, for the US, it took 40 whole yrs for women's labor market participation rates to change from slightly less than half to slightly more than half. I'm not seeing the vast changes that should cause such a decrease in marital rates. By the numbers, women still ain't doing good enough to break off from men completely.

Stats don't even make sense, 2/3rd of single mothers are white. 1/3rd is black. Where do Asians, Hispanics, Arabs and native American women fit into? So if your a single mother you're either black or white?

I’ve seen a lot of Hispanic single mothers, but I’ve yet to see those other demographics as single mothers. They tend to make the women get married if they get pregnant, even marrying them off as teens.

could they have been refugees? I can believe that a refugee, married or unmarried, will have no issue accessing govt services. A lot of states got loopholes for them.

The few arabs i have met seem to be from iraq, afghan,syria, sudan, etc (states which have collapsed or are slowly doing so) and i have literally never met any from the wealthier coherent nations in the middle east, uae/jordan/kuwait/qatar/egypt/turkey(yes i know they technically not arab), etc. So i could understand the ones you saw, being from those areas also and in need of aid.

As a woman, I never understood women who choose to be a single parent. It has always made absolutely no sense to me.

They're not single boy choice almost noone is. Single people be fronting when on the inside they are really wishing to find someone.

One thing I've just noticed from online dating, there's a lot of single white mom's as well, seems like more than black women but probably understate the issue
