The bomb is now moooobile... quotables for days from Bane....

Dark Knight series? :mjpls:

I can't speak on the Dark Knight series, but lets be reality, when Jennifer Lawrence is the highest paid actress in Hollywood, and she's featured on a trailer saying, "that's why I'm here. To fight!" You knew right there this "film" wasn't looking too good. I'm thinking the Dark Knight was able to have better dialogue because it's not something too far from reality. Terrorists, Gotham City (NY), crime, thuggery, etc.. One can relate to that. X-Men on the other hand.............I can make some sh!t up, and it would pass as dialogue, not just for X-Men, but most of these corny azz flicks.

"We have to stop him!"

"Noooooooo!!!!!!!"

"We have to get to the control room!"

"I've always loved you."

The sh!t really ain't that far removed from the Bam/Pow/Crack days of Batman on television from decades ago.

Or Marvel could have gone the Netflix route.......reality is we don't know what Marvel vision of the X-men would be
Exactly, which is why everyone assuming it will automatically be better needs to pause, fox clearly needs to give this to a different director, but it doesn't necessarily need a new studio

Fox is not making a Sony deal because Sony's situation is way different. They were losing money as a Studio off of flops, they weren't making money off of ASM2 merch. because the money went to Marvel and they overspent on ASM2 and lost around 100M as a result. Plus they admitted that they didn't know what they were doing with the Spiderman franchise.

I've counted at least four reviews that either say even Last Stand was better or it makes Last Stand look like First Class/X2.

Supposedly Psylocke and Storm have virtually no lines and even less screen time than Magneto's filler new family.

Over-abuse of CGI that reminded people of Ang Lee's Hulk.

Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy have both been said to have "phoned it in."

Oscar Isaac's Apocalypse is unintimidating mostly due to writing.

Just to name a few things.

How do you not write lines for two of the most important women of color in comic books :mindblown:
Think great films will come from a child molester, brehs:francis:...I wouldn't go see this (nor would my kid(s)) if it were free with a certified best film Oscar nod. Fukk these pedophiles.:stopitslime:

Fox losing money too by just having the movie rights, marvel get money from both companies anyway from merchandise. F4 flop that's money spend from production and keeping in they hands. They have to release x-men movies not because they want to

Also Fox already made the deal with Marvel with the x-men franchis. Disney is not going to buy the rights back but do deals or just wait it out

Liking all the negative feedback I am hearing on this hopefully it transfers to a poor box office. It will be a fitting end to the tenure of that dirty pillow biting child molester

The thing is that Fox is making money off of other movies so they're not hurting. I can't think of any movie Sony has coming out besides Men in Black
