They were so emotional and so afraid that they gave this white man more of their votes than the first Black president. Without getting anything specific in return to address the source of their fear.

yea the accountability part we are still working on, thats WHY this trial is so important, plus now that biden and harris have won, they've been really wanting to pass fbi levels of responsibility. this means, if states failt o trial, they can be tried federal and thats HUGE.

we just gotta wait and see how this trial goes, like i said, domino effect, think of rosa parks. it started off with that little woman, then protest, then state laws, then boom federal. it didnt happen in less than a year. i actually believe this time, esp after worldwide protest, its here.

Well one of the problems is that these activists will jump on these police shootings when they happen but then go quiet as soon as the hype dies down. Soon as some shyt happens, you have hundreds of people marching then later when it dies down, you have 50, then 10, etc. Then people start looking at them crazy like why are you out here? Also, the police unions, FOI, etc will never go against their cops period! You have to change this. Cops go into these city council meetings when the hype dies down and beg for more money to pay their cops or try to get more cops for their departments and usually get what they want. The problem is that a lot of folks stop paying attention after the hype dies down.

This and folks forget that the cops union donate money to these politicians campaigns and vote in large blocks against or for the mayor. Thats why the mayors often times don't want to go against the police unions.

You see the same thing with these teacher unions in places like Chicago. Where the chicago teachers union are the 3rd most powerful voting blocks in chicago (police union, fire fighters union and teachers union). They can make or break the mayor with money or votes or both. So the mayor always treads lightly with the teachers union. Or buckles when they go in strike.

Real talk Rahm Emanual was a dead man walking politically after Laquan McDonald incident. But the he was half past dead prior from his run ins with teachers union over the years and they were ready to pull their votes and money away from his punk ass.

At the end of the day folks react to violence and or economical pressure. We don't own any planes or tanks or large amounts of weaponry. Some country is not gonna support us in a proxy war.

But we do got a lot and I mean a lot of money in terms of buying power that we can take away from these folks. Doing as the late great MLK said in redistrubuting the pain (economically). You can't expect folks to do right by you, but hand them your money left and right with no strings attached. You can't expect folks to pass laws in your behalf without greasing their palms and buying them off.

Its just how world works. We see jews and now the chinese doing this all around the world. Either giving folks money to do as they say or taking money from folks to do as they say.

I became incredibly bitter about the protests at one point...I marched in May and by mid June I was disgusted by what the protests had become-- a cloutfest and a stage for nonblack people to roleplay being oppressed

They became about everything BUT the MAIN thing. Got co-opted in a way that was despicable. Subsets, regardless of gender/race/etc, made it about them
