Its simple. Benoit, if he didn't kill his family he would be UNTOUCHABLE in terms of GOATS; he was really, really fukking good. He was able to make Technical wrestling fun. He didn't need to talk on the mic, do flippy shyt, he just came in and fukking did his work to perfection. Not to mention the Crippler Crossface when performed right was brutal to watch.

Some brehs want to keep that and try to block out the bad, which is wrong to do.

I'm not sure anybody wants to block out the bad and act like it never happened. You can watch and enjoy the work somebody did while acknowledging how terrible that person is.

It's just like R. Kelly. Kellz the artist is brilliant and one of the best to ever do it. But Kellz the person is an absolute piece of shyt. It's ok to acknowledge both

Respectfully disagree my breh on some parts.

Any fan who starts a "Benoit" chant is totally not getting it. I greatly admire Benoit's ring work, but at the same time, understanding his recklessness was one of many reasons that led to his CTE.

For a person who chants Benoit, they are not just blocking out the evil but also giving great disservice to two people who didn't need to die.
