Most likely one of the OPs of these many threads got a positive diagnosis and needs assurance or thinks they got it and needs assurance.

I been seeing a lot of people on tumblr talking about their experiences with it and the stigma. Whatever reason people been making threads about it, it's a good thing because people been getting some poor sex education to think that condoms keep you from contacting a skin disease or that if you get it somehow your life is over.

Of course, communicate with your partner, protect yourself, educate yourself. But people being driven to suicide and self harm over that is ridiculous.
