Oral herpes is interesting because it lays dormant for so long. The only way to really know for certain if you have it is to get tested. And that presents a problem because not every place will test for it since it’s so common. And you can even spread it with no visible outbreak.

The last time I got a full panel test, I specifically asked for the HSV to be included.

Just in general from the past few topics on this, a lot of people think "strapping up" will protect them from certain things, which is not true.

They have the general information, but time erodes the fine details

It's getting scary because, there is seemingly a growing amount of people who won't tell you unless you ask that they have an sti (aids is exception, people still take that very serious)
