No it's not just the object of a black hole's event horizon, the space the black hole exists upon has to be 2 dimensional as well.This world we exist is just gets stranger by the minute.

I don't think this is even a question anymore. Videogames will turn into the simulation of a simulation relative to us. Grand Theft Auto is just the primitive form of a future advanced simulation.
