Luckily that elevator key will make it trivial if/when I wanna lower my Tower age

Once you understand the system the game is light
it clicked for me midway through the tower. museum is definitely the high point of the game, not saying the rest is bad or anything. just nothing tops that.

once i realized you could do or repeat certain actions and 'bait' enemies into shyt, it got a lot easier to manage fights. and bosses get easier once you start feeling more comfortable punishing than playing defense

but honestly the 1st form is much, much harder than the second. the back jump she has after the melee combo never changes, the dash is telegraphed as fukk, and you can actually grab the knives and use them against her if you got the weapon catch ability

the 1st form will run you the fukk over in an instant if you get caught off guard the wrong way

Yeah, her first form, the high/lows and left/right swings so fast and seemingly unpredictable (in actuality, they're not, but it's really easy to confuse you when you in the midst of her onslaught). So she's either nipping away at your life if you trying to block them or depleting that shyt clean if you fukk up your evasive sways.

do you have an example of this? :leon:
you never noticed how bosses will spam moves if you always fail to block it? how they'll start pulling back on combos if you consistently fail to punish them dashing out of range? how the big boys will only use the grab if you're a certain distance back from them? stuff like that. shyt, leaving a bottle for someone to pick up means you can count on them doing that instead of bum rushing you with another enemy at the same time. all that little stuff you can do to stack the deck in your favor pays off in this game.

you can't be out here trying to be ready for everything every single moment :dead: and if you can't lay on real offense by the end of the game you straight up can't beat it too for that matter. wait and parry/dodge doesn't work against an enemy that regains structure

yeah, getting through the museum after getting stomped by sean is probably the biggest hill to climb in the game.

once you start beating sean at 30-35, museum with the elevator pass is how you get to the home stretch at 40 or so typically

im hearing the 2nd stage is basically the big "skill check" and that 3rd, 4th, and 5th stages are vastly easier. From how quickly im able to get to the boss in the museum despite the level being long as hell it looks to be accurate. I love the museum way more than the first two levels though

I also felt like the mini-bosses of the club were a lot harder also

if you have the master environment perk, it makes the museum easy mode. almost all the enemies there carry weapons and theres so much shyt to throw on the displays that you can basically torpedo projectiles at enemies all day

the 2nd level is only hard because most people never bothered to learn how to dodge lol. everyone just leaned on parry and the sidestep shyt then got smacked repeatedly before looking at the input lists :mjlol:

the only reason the museum is 'easier' is because people finally learn how to play by the time they get there and the hard lessons to get to that point start to pay off. coli breh by the door guarding the first pass is harder than the entire first level. and the two dancing bytches on skates will kill you faster than just about every other two on one in the game. the club is just mentally taxing as fukk because of how long it is. you WILL fukk up there and the enemies will slowly dismantle you for it if you let it happen.
