I keep dying at least once to the final form of the first boss...sh*t is driving me insane. Parry is almost f*cking useless, it's pretty much dodge and evade.

Run around there are a couple of sticks lying around you can parry with them.

ironically that’s his easiest form imo…I mostly evade but will quickly hit evade then parry if he’s close just to ensure I don’t get hit/cut…you can find some bamboo sticks laying around too that you can use to fukk him up

going thru the entire first level and about half of the 2nd level (no shortcuts) will provide you enough XP to permanently unlock any perk (even the higher ones)…some you have to unlock before you hit 29 but that should be easy to do at this point…I’ve been going thru the first level like crazy…plus I’m determined to beat that level w/o dying…game is crack…can’t believe I doubted it

all I can say is be patient and don’t get greedy with the hits…I usually give him 2 light hits and a heavy hit then evade (and parry if necessary)…rinse and repeat

actually the 3 hits “rule” is a bit conservative…I use that for the first round but in the 2nd round you can get in about 4-5 good hits with the stick

took him half way thru round 2 but it’s hard as hell to get an opening just evading by jumping back in that 2nd round…and there are no sticks lol smh…I’m gonna have to duck/jump over his close attacks to remind in range to try and get an opening

ok I figured out the key to sean…gotta parry and push L down…it’s not perfect but it evades a lot of his blows and allows you to stay in range for an attack…more importantly it builds up your focus quicker…if I can get to him again under 25, he’s beatable…granted I’ll probably be old as hell going into lvl 3
