I would take UF over Oregon but won't argue you saying you'd take Oregon over UF :manny: The offense they run plays right into our strength which is run D and tackling.

Offensively, we struggled this season. 3 OC's in 3 years will do that to ya and plus we just had the motto of just run the ball and play D. Fluck it though, i'll take 11-1 tho

I admitted I thought Florida was worse than they actually were, but Oregon's loss to a legitimate team (Stanford) looks better to me than Florida scraping by 3 shytty teams before playing FSU

Oregon's D is better than people give it credit for. Florida doesn't have a bruising RB or a dominant player like Newton or Pryor to get yards. Gillislee is good and so is Driskel, but they'd have to be super human for Florida to beat Oregon and Oregon can pass the ball. That freshman can fukking throw. Y'all gave up 26 to FSU with Manuel trying his hardest to give the game to y'all.

Honestly, I hope one of the BCS bowls has some balls and puts a SEC team (Florida) against a Pac-12 (Oregon). Stanford's going to the Rose, but Oregon can still get an at-large bid so can Florida.

Oregon lost at home to a 2 loss team and we lost on a neutral site to a one loss team. That loss was worse than ours.

And the FSU game. The score reads 26, but they scored the last TD as time expired and one of those other td's, they started at the like the 30.

only ONCE this season has a team scored over 20 points against UF.

Florida wouldn't have to be super human to beat Oregon; they'll just run the ball and play defense. That undersized d-line would be gasping in the 4th. Ask FSU and LSU

We won't find out though. We'll be in the Sugar against Oklahoma or Kent State and Oregon will be kept in the Fiesta

man listen.

everybody keep this thread on file.

oregon doesnt have to play in the rose bowl against purdue so theres a chance that they could meet up with florida or another SEC team. if they do, im looking forward to that more than the title game.

oregon and kansas st nearly ran the table in the pac-12 & big 12 respectably. and they won most of them in a convincing fashion.

trust, if those teams ended up squeaking by random WAC & mountain west squads in 16-13 last-second thrillers, they would be lucky to crack the top 10 right about now. but florida is 4th? they barely won half of their games.

and i dont think the SEC is that great this year either. granted, im administering the good ole' eye-test, which is irrelevant at this point so feel free to take it how you want..

so what youre saying is that georgia should be punished for playing an extra game and losing?...............an extra game against what is considered to be the best team in the country?.......an extra game that florida failed to qualify for?.....and they failed to qualify because they lost to georgia?

this is gonna be a problem when that 4-team playoff rolls around.

whats the point of having of sec championship game in the future if it knocks you out the top 4 if you lose
