People always get caught with Oregon putting up 50 points a game against weak ass teams.

When they play good, well coached teams they anyways struggle

Boise State

LSU

Auburn

Stanford

Ohio State

all showed that if you punch them in the mouth, they'll crumble. I think only once since 08 have they won a game when they've scored UNDER 20 points.

:wtf: :why: ALL TEAMS STRUGGLE AGAINST GOOD WELL COACHED TEAMS. That's why they're good well coached teams. How many times have you seen a good well coached team get blown out?

Boise State - Oregon was terrible that year and Boise St was one of the best teams in the country.

LSU - I'm pretty sure that was in Baton Rouge. Every team struggles there even SEC teams.

Auburn - Championship game. Cam Newton looked like shyt too against Oregon's defense. Let's not act like Auburn blew them out.

Stanford - Stanford is underrated. There defense is dumb ass good this year. Last year Oregon beat the brakes off them.

Ohio State - Meh.

all showed that if you punch them in the mouth, they'll crumble. I think only once since 08 have they won a game when they've scored UNDER 20 points.

I don't think Oregon's team is the problem in big games. Chip Kelly starts doing remedial shyt in big games like going for 4th down in the red zone when they haven't been able to run all game. He pretends the good teams are bullshyt teams. He's the reason they're good and also the reason they haven't gotten past the hump yet.

That said I'd still take them over Florida. Hopefully, they'll both get at large bids and end up playing each other.

You talk about Oregon blowing out bad teams, but I think it's worse that Florida struggled against Lousiana Lafayette AND Missouri AND Jacksonville State

yes i have. they only have 1 or 2 impressive victories.

theyre the weakest of the 1-loss major conference schools by far.

they dont even deserve to go over a kansas st.

What has Kansas State done this season that would make them more deserving than UF?

Florida has 4 impressive victories: at Texas A&M, at FSU, LSU, and South Carolina.

Wait so beating the #7 , 9, 10, and 13 teams in the country isn't impressive but Kansas state beating the #11 and 23 teams impress you. Log off

I would take UF over Oregon but won't argue you saying you'd take Oregon over UF :manny: The offense they run plays right into our strength which is run D and tackling.

Offensively, we struggled this season. 3 OC's in 3 years will do that to ya and plus we just had the motto of just run the ball and play D. Fluck it though, i'll take 11-1 tho

Just think under the new system there would be no indication you were going to the playoffs :smugfavre:

There's NO case that can be made that we'd be more deserving over UGA. Even if there was no conference title game. We lost to them head up.

Why are all of you talking about a 1 loss georgia team being more deserving than a 1 loss florida team when this disscussion is obviously using the logic of alabama beating georgia on saturday. There is no way a 2 loss Georgia is more deserving of the 4 team playoff than a 1 loss florida. And if Georgia does beat Alabama then it would obviously be ND, Georgia, florida, and Oregon

oregon and kansas st nearly ran the table in the pac-12 & big 12 respectably. and they won most of them in a convincing fashion.

trust, if those teams ended up squeaking by random WAC & mountain west squads in 16-13 last-second thrillers, they would be lucky to crack the top 10 right about now. but florida is 4th? they barely won half of their games.

and i dont think the SEC is that great this year either. granted, im administering the good ole' eye-test, which is irrelevant at this point so feel free to take it how you want..

so what youre saying is that georgia should be punished for playing an extra game and losing?...............an extra game against what is considered to be the best team in the country?.......an extra game that florida failed to qualify for?.....and they failed to qualify because they lost to georgia?

this is gonna be a problem when that 4-team playoff rolls around.
