Why are you constantly paying your rent late?

I lost my job from covid, so I was late by a few days each month last year waiting for unemployment.

They got their money each month, damn yall hope nothing happens to you :mjpls:

If you are constantly paying late fees its time you create a budget so you avoid those fees. You giving them people free money for nothing.

I'm budgeting to get out of debt so I hear you breh.

Nope not at all! The burners on the stove weren’t working correctly. Example: I could put something on low and it would heat up to HIGH, even if I did the opposite, it would still be messed up.

The washer broke, the garage door wouldn’t open sometimes etc

and we had to pay EVERY single time, $75, even when they had to come out again for the same issue. So we said fukk it and started cooking on a flat hotplate

How is this even legal? Read your tenancy agreement, does it state that you have to pay $75?

I could probably find it if I needed to, but I remember reading and signing it. And the lady told us up front. The townhouse was huuuuge and beautiful so we really didn’t think we would have issues. It was our mistake for thinking that something that nice wouldnt turn out to be a piece of shyt. That’s also why we decided to build our house. We did not want any surprises that then
Devious owners didn’t disclose.

oh and also just to rant:
Our master bathroom shower wasn’t sealed or something so it started dripping through the ceiling downstairs.....TWICE

I don't want to renew my lease but I don't have enough to move out just yet so I have to pay $100 more to do month to month :mjcry:

I kinda want to ask if they're willing to lower it if I sign the lease since I know they've lost tenants but I doubt it.

A closed mouth doesn’t get fed.

In my opinion you lose nothing by asking. If you’ve been a good tenant, ask if they are willing to give you a 6 month to one year lease at the same rate or with a discount .

The most they can say is no, then at least you know they are ungrateful, and greedy and it’s time to move..

I don’t understand the logic behind this $75. Did you pay a security deposit?
