This is a great documentary and I really hope brehs will be watching it. Abdul-Rauf really sounds like a good guy who's at peace with himself. It's nothing short of disgusting how he was treated with all that hatred, and Jalen Rose kept it a 100 when he included coaches and players among those who need to apologize to him.

Excellent, Excellent Documentary. :wow:

Very thorough and well thought out. Mahmoud's redemption arc was beautiful.

Also Bernie Bickerstaff is a whole hoe for trying to front on the fact that Mahmoud was blackballed. :comeon:

The whole story with his moms not telling him who his Pops was, was tragic as hell. I wonder if he was a product of rape or something else tragic.

Also, didnt know the director of this documentary was this fine. :ehh:

Watched this last night and it was remarkable. Crazy how his tourette syndrome helped him become so focused on his game.

One thing I got was once again how important having or a least knowing a father is to our children. It was the one of things that drove him to success and even as an adult, he still felt incomplete without knowing his paternal history.

But I do feel he would have been back in the league if it wasn't for that HBO special. I can see how someone watching especially in that time would feel like he was an apologist
