For the record, the reason black kids are shooting each other and selling drugs is because of the low socio-economic communities they live and the lack of opportunity they get to succeed in racist white america. If rap music was the cause of the drug dealing and violence, then how come white kids (who buy most rap music) don't do it as well?

All you have to do to know the problems in the black community have nothing to do with music or race is look back at America just 100 years ago. When the Italians and Irish were economically marginalized they were killing each other and selling alcohol (which was illegal at the time) in the inner cities of America. All the legendary gangsters of that time (like Al Capone) were white. It wasn't until the Italians and Irish were welcomed into whiteness by Anglo-Saxons and economically pulled out of their dire situations that they stopped the violence and drug dealing.

If there was ANY truth to what you wrote earlier, the spies working for the feds would have uncovered it, confirmed it and used it to discredit Malcolm whitemail him, or silence him.

No its because blacks are poor. Plenty of white athletes are elevated to leader status. Hell, Regan was a college football star before going into politics.

I was in the NOI. Stepdad's side of the family is all in the NOI. I've met people who actually KNEW Malcolm, Betty Shabazz when he was a minister in Harlem and later Farrakhan when he became the minister in Harlem. The NOI directly had nothing to do with Malcolm's assassination. You had brothers who had a fanatical urge to try to hurt Malcolm due to religious zeal. Elijah Muhammad gave orders to not have Malcolm harmed. Was there beef? Of course! Malcolm was still living in the house that was owned by the NOI up until it was fire bombed. If the NOI wanted Malcolm dead by order of Elijah Muhammad he would have been dead within hours of the order given. Minister Farrakhan's blood brother Alvin Farrakhan lived down the block from Malcolm. He could have easily did the job himself.

The government had agents all up in the NOI just like they did with Garvey and the UNIA, the Black Panthers, NAACP, SCLC, or any other movement or persons who was trying to do something to benefit black people. Malcolm's own damn bodyguard was a undercover cop spying on Malcolm and would later do the same thing with the Black Panthers!

As far as Farrakhan's involvement, he had no power at that time. He was just a minister in Boston. Farrakhan along with all the other ministers of Elijah Muhammad wrote articles attacking Malcolm in Muhammad Speaks. Farrakhan's involvement was just like Trump's rhetoric talking down on illegal immigrants, muslims, etc. If one of his crazed fans decided to go shoot up a mosque or a DNC headquarters he would have a indirect responsibility since he inflamed them with his rhetoric. Essentially that is what Farrakhan did when it came to Malcolm. Farrakhan has admitted the part he played and has reconciled with Malcolm's family. Here is one of Malcolm's daughters, Ilyasah Shabazz, with the minister at Aretha Franklin's funeral last year.

As far as Malcolm's comments about dikk Gregory, he was right in a sense but generally celebrities in the black community have a lot of influence anyways. It's sad that that is the case but it is what it is. A lot of celebrities do help the community like Nipsey, Jay-Z, etc. Black folks condition in America is something unique and requires unique solutions. Black people have only been freed from chattel slavery for barely 150 years, state sanctioned Jim Crow for 50 years, and continuing effects of the crack epidemic, reaganomics, etc.
