Depends. Do you want non white customers coming and and bytching about your environment and your space?

All businesses make mistakes, have errors, issues with staffing and such but when it's a black owned business "that's just how they do business".

Let chik fil a fukk your order and give you the wrong drink. "theyre so busy, it's ok! I support their cause anyway. Good Christian company, great values."

Be a black owned business and forget a straw when you give a customer a drink "they'd still be in Africa wearing grass skirts and living in the the jungle. All they do is talk loudly l, laugh and jokes and talk about how bad white people are and can't even serve a drink properly while they give each other the homie hook up."

If your business caters specifically to Black Folks in some way, then yes advertise as a Black Owned Business.

If the goal is to make money, from as many people as possible, then don't.

Racism is a real issue for Black Business owners.
Some people will go out of there way to mess your business up, cause they hate Black Folks.
Bingo.

If I'm in a dense (population), Black neighborhood, it makes sense to stand out from the white, Korean etc.

One thing to keep in mind is that Black folks will sometimes act differently depending on who runs the establishment. Like if it's clearly a non-Black spot, folks will behave but then get buck wild if they know the owners are Black...start expecting discounts and doing shyt they wouldn't do at Bubba's Burgers or Kim's Kimchi spot.

No, because you want to get money from any one and everyone that might be turned away by that

what you do is use some of that money that is earned to support black people and help them start business as well.
you don't tell folk your black and proud you show folk that your black and proud of your people by actions

the internet
the "black owned business" thing is about ego

it doesnt make you any money,
and nobody cares...not even black people

at the end of the day people spend money when they feel what they are getting is worth more than the money they are spending...
focus on that

Hell no. I wanna make that money. Why would I want to cater exclusively to black folks and make myself a target from crackers? :why:

Nah that label comes with a stigma attached, people like to group them all the same so if one fukks up that means all black owned businesses are fukk ups.

And besides I'm just not of the black label in general(love, business, excellence, etc...) shyt feels corny and makes it seem like that it's a foreign thing to see.

This worked well during the peak of the pandemic when people everyone was trying to support black owned businesses after the outrage from the George Floyd killing. But now the status quo has returned and liberals have moved on and the casual racism to black businesses has returned. So yeah nah just market to everyone it's a business

Support corner stones and pillars. If they ain’t doing their job either you out compete them or go to someone else who does.

Support the ones who have exploitable resources. If they can’t manage it, same thing

Vet the owners and see what institutions they’re connected to.

If it’s just a regular business then it doesn’t matter. But if you care about the economy and having capital flow in you should care about black business. And the business owner should try to provide convenience and quality to justify the business to where it’s a no brained that black people should go there and so we can take outsider money

In short, out compete the fukk out of everyone. Take no prisoners. Cater to your community and make the convenience inseparable

Probably not....but I actually try to support when I see that tho...but then again what's the authentication process for this? Couldn't anyone just attach "Black Owned" to their business?
