I mean all those people could have went to other companies. The Horsewoman have been wrestling since the late 2000s, TNA had a decent woman's division then, they decided to go to WWE. Luck or not they had to develop there. I mean technically off my initial list really only Bianca and Charlotte are "homegrown" but when has WWE in it's history ever built stars from their own camp from the ground up? It's few and far between except the one's we both mentioned.
Nah, you good. I was talking about me getting sidetracked, speak on whatever you want breh. But yeah I agree they got complacent with developmental because they were signing guys like Nakamura, Steen, Generico, PAC, and Prince. These guys probably just needed to learn which way to look at the camera from Vince's standards or some shyt but otherwise were already top tier vets.
HHH is to blame for trying to take over the indies but Vince put him in that position because they were hoarding talent so they wouldn't sign anywhere.
Now that there's an alternative they do need to start from scratch but not from ground zero because they've had success in the past.
If the rumors are true that the PC and NXT are money losing ventures (I believe it), then they need to start putting a cap on how long they are keeping talent there. After a certain number of years, decide if you want to move a talent up to the main roster or move them from the company altogether. If they become a star elsewhere, then that's fine and just sign them again when the time comes. There's no reason why some of those dudes like Ciampa and Gargano should still be in NXT after all this time.
Now with that being said.... Vince and company are going to have to start from the ground zero in how they treat their talent as you know it's a problem if even your main roster talent is clamoring to go down to NXT because of the less travel schedule.
I don't even think that what Khan is doing is necessarily a bad thing, but more so correcting issues that WWE should have been doing years ago. They should have known a couple of years ago that they needed to start cutting talent if they ran out of the locker rooms to spare for new developmental recruits. Yet they still insisted on bringing in more of them.
