Nah, why take someone else's sloppy seconds. I don't expect an actor with options to take that role.
Plus Antman 3 had mediocre success so it's not clear that people even like Kang as a character. Time for Doom; which is what people wanted after Thanos anyway.

My favorite fan casting is Denzell and John David both playing Kang Variants. Could be two Kangs “Immortus” and Iron Lad wipe out the other Kangs and both be the big bad together

Ali plays a better villain than Majors but I'm pretty sure Kang is done. Blade is finished too, but we don't want to admit it. At best we'll get a Blade's daughter.

Yeah i saw they were recasting him. Its too much time and money on the table and relatively early in his character arc to get rid of him. May as well go the War Machine route and play it off cool. Have John David Washington or one of them black british actors pop out of some ooze in a random after credits scene. Boom we back at it.
