Both are good games to start out with.

Also try to find Duke Nukem 3D for a decent price.

Used to have one with Pro Action Replay and a few classics like Guardian Heroes, Shining Force 3, Dragon Force, and some Japanese fighting and action games. Sold it all when I went through a period where I didn't really game at all. Wish I hadn't
