yea, what if both parties decide to split? could be for the best on both sides.

SAS’ agency (WME) could set him up with a comfortable play outside of ESPN. He’s just going to need the access to the personalities, which his agency and whatever publisher it is (Netflix?).

IMO the key is really the social media exposure. If clips of whatever he’s doing or “controversial” things he’s saying are posted daily by him, his team and the media outlets then he’d be good.

That added exposure through social media posts is what makes First Take kinda go viral daily to begin with…no?

He should leave and expand his own brand. ESPN done ate off of him enough, he’s the voice everyone RESPONDS to, good or bad. He’s a miserable narcissist brother, but he’s smart and I would love for him to keep succeeding. I may not agree with him, but he’s a brother and the inevitable racism is gonna try to kill him, and I want him to prevail.

The immediate question to the bolded is if that's because he's Stephen A, or because he's the loudest voice on the largest sports network in the world.

The real answer is that it's a little bit of both, but whether his move is a success is going to be judged by one or the other looking more like the truth.

ESPN paid that c00n Shannon Sharpe because they know it’s a real chance SAS ventures out on his own or gets a favorable deal with another platform. They’re not willing to pay him what they gave Mcafee.

Those social media clicks are cool and all, but he's going to need people actually consuming his content to be worth his asking price long term.

Nah bruh. Skip Bayless is a known agitator. No one really takes/took him seriously, especially after Shannon left him. Also w/ Skip you knew he was trolling. It made it entertaining and funny

On the flip, SAS takes himself so gotdamn serious it’s agitating. Ans he Is THE face of nba and nfl coverage, so he dictates the very way sports are covered across the board. That same seriousness for no reason. Plus just to pay his salary espn let go of countless actual sports experts and instead hired personalities and gossip mongers.

And perhaps worst of all he brings in the passive aggressive personal attacks. It’s disgusting what he’s single handedly done. Skip def opened the door to this style but SAS took that small fire and poured gas all over it
Stephen A is doing better than Skip these days. I think him trying to troll people into believing Tim Tebow was good was the beginning of the end for him. You can troll but don’t be out here lying to people lol, especially when we can see wtf is happening out there

Yeah he should go away. But I don’t watch ESPN to make it worse. I like to pretend he doesn’t exist.

If im ESPN,give me Broussard for a quarter of the price:mjlol:

Broussard is as hilarious as Stephen A thinks he is lol. I have no idea who finds him and that fake laugh he does entertaining:scust:

I feel like you could easily build a dream team built of podcasters with the salary they pay him if im ESPn. Give me Mccants,Gil,Chad Ochocinco,Jeff Teague etc.
