They already have prime pick up partners with Kohl’s and Whole Foods. They already have a marketplace for games online. Why waste money on brick and mortar stores?

Honestly, I'm surprised that Gamestop still exists at all. Most electronics stores already sell games and the customer service is leagues better, then you also have Amazon doing the same with direct delivery. Their business model is outdated and that's before you factor in stuff like them giving you next to nothing for trying to sell or trade something in, or the constant upselling whenever you try and buy something.

It's sad when Walmart is a better alternative than GameStop :mjlol:

When Gamestop falls...I will celebrate

The thought of having a one stop place for all your gaming and side hobby needs was a novel idea....25 years ago

Now this disgusting beast, who has the nerve to offer you $5 trade in for a game you paid $60 for....now it MUST die :camby:
Out curiosity i checked online to see what my trade in value of my tab s3 was. They said .89 cents:stopitslime:

It wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. Amazon still sells a lot of physical games and it would be a good place to stockpile some of their excess inventory and give a physical presence for their online tech. But the price has to be right to make business sense. Maybe at 400 million for the company and all their stuff.
