Usually playing a sport helps you make friends and dudes usually will stick up for you if you're their teammate.

I deadass never heard the word manlet or anything like that til I was like 25+.

There were definitely jokes for the smaller brehs but everybody got cooked, that's life.

This whole "eww, he's kinda short" thing seems way overblown vs what I saw growing up.

Just tell him to keep his head up, height is a genetic trait and there's nothing he could do about it. There is no genuine person that would insult someone based off his height alone

A light joke here and there but it wasn't really a factor. Had the fortune of being a great athlete and stronger than most of my peers so getting picked on wasn't really a thing. Got roasted more for some questionable fashion choices and a few bad haircuts though

I'm 5'6

I didn't start hearing short jokes until I was like 27 and even then it was from the younger kids in high school. Around 2017. I honestly didn't even know I was short until college. I'm one of the smallest person in my extended family, male or female but I just thought I wasn't tall like my family. I didn't notice any large height differences in school.

And I wrestled and was a D end
