Because other than the church shooting our government is only exploiting these bullshyt shootings that happen in predominantly white areas. You wanna convince congress and a largely white populace that we need gun legislation you have to scare them.
Statistically these shootings aren't even resulting in mass murder or happening at an extreme frequency. It's just the media hyping them up. This is all bullshyt to pass more gun legislation. We've been saying this for many months, but now it's finally happening

The government isn't "exploiting" these mass shootings nor is there some govt conspiracy to manufacture or conspire to create these mass shooting attacks .
Let's address the elephant in the gatdamn room. When Whites commit mass murder and extreme acts of violence, the media for the most part always makes a concerted effort to make excuses or "protect" the criminals.
It's always these bullshyt excuses:
"He's a lone wolf"
"He was troubled"
"He was mentally ill"
"This was a false flag"
"This was a conspiracy"
"This is about gun control"
"We need to address psychiatric drug use"
When have these excuses ever been made for black people when we murder and commit violence?
Furthermore, "Murica" ain't giving up their guns breh. That ain't happening EVER. Congress will never repeal the 2nd amendment.
And these mass shootings are happening frequently there have been 204 mass shooting in 204 days in 2015 breh. Look it up

Yes, they are exploiting these tragedies along with the media. That's total bullshyt to say otherwise. All of these incidents are being used to push new legislation. Will they ever repeal the 2nd Amendment? No. But will we see greater levels of monitoring? Restriction? Definitely. There has been a concerted effort in recent years to do this.

Gun violence and violent crime in general has been steadily declining for decades. Areas with higher rates of legal gun ownership have less violence than areas that don't so the problem isn't guns.
I agree that white privilege protects a lot of these supposed shooters from criticism, but if you looked up more information about the Aurora shooting or the shooting at Sandy Hook, it's clear there is more to the story than meets the eye.
