Minimize unwanted pregnancies minimize the motive for abortion.
Proper contraception prevents terminations as a matter of course.

I'm conflicted. On one hand it is definitely a numbers game- the more blacks the better. But, there's the issue of quality vs quantity. What good is more black folks if they're just generational victims of white supremacy, poverty, the prison complex.

White supremacy affects all black people irregardless of our social or financial situation.
i tend to mind my own business when it comes to family planning decisions because i have no real interest in providing financial support to help them live. my biggest beef with conservatives is that they're more obsessed with fetuses than they are with real live human beings out there. food stamps, subsidized housing, medicaid, public schools, etc all things they hate and want to get rid of but these are what's available for fetuses that are brought to term and grow up in poverty. so what is it? you like the idea of human beings, not the actual ones being raised by someone else.

The social programs you listed have ALWAYS been funded regardless of what a few Republicans want. Women and children have always been a priority in America and they always will be, so take that bull shyt somewhere else.

Or that white collar black women shack up with white men versus... black men?
Income level correlates with risk of unplanned pregnancy. Unfortunately so does race. There are major disparities in access to quality reproductive health care; Geographic and financial access along with relationships with available providers. It is similar to how black women are less likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer than white women but have a 30% higher likelihood of dying from it. Unplanned pregnancies are just one of the results of our terrible healthcare situation.

Funny you say that because its true. The IUD wasn't even considered safe until the 80s and through the Negro project (and Sanger via federal funding) black women were using IUDs at a higher rate than white women. It caused infertility which was their goal. I wish I would've known about this much earlier and I wouldn't have used BC, shots (it caused me to be infertile and complications with my reproductive organs). And actually, black women have a higher rate of fibroids, cancer, and endometriosis so as much as they say the pill can relieve menstrual cramps the hormones are too strong and actually can cause cancer/infertility which was their goal since they happen to have these in inner city clinics. It's a form of population control, which is the PC term for genocide. The goal was to render us almost extinct like the Natives.
