He knew his friends wouldn’t agree with his tactics, so he distanced himself as many have guessed. I guess the pain of those he loved was not enough to overcome the parallels in death and tragedy and ignorance that he had observed in Marley as well. So much power, and not much for Eren to lose, he can wipe the memories of Ymir’s subjects after he is done, and start a new world as he only has less than year left by now I’m pretty sure.

We deadass read this manga this whole time as if this shyt could have been avoided somehow, but there was realistically absolutely no way of stopping it.

Also like how Mikasa and Armin couldn't hear shyt with all those titans marching, you already know WIT studio gonna have hella fun animating that. It might be a shyt ton of CGI tho.

Are they officially animating this? They said the "last season" was the next one, but I'm not sure they'll be able to cramp everything in 26 episodes

That massive skeleton doesn't look like it can move. I wonder if it's serving as some kind of antenna that lets Eren communicate with everyone and the Titans. If that's the case that means Eren is still there and they'll probably move to stop him.

Might see Levi again to put Eren down or Mikasa does it.
